SISCODE is an organisation that supports the teaching and learning of IT and Coding to underprivileged young girls. Inspired by the discrimination affecting females secluded from active IT teaching and learning programs and its related fields in underserved communities in Ghana, their projects aim to find and encourage promising young girls in Ghana, Africa and the globe, who express aptitude and potential.

Current Projects

Mentoring program

TheirĀ mentoring program is geared towards connecting young female students in the university to mentors both locally and internationally to help steer their STEM career paths. This project aims to find and encourage promising young girls in Ghana, Africa and the globe, who express aptitude and potential.

After school coding bootcamp

Hire for impact program

The “hire for impact program” pairs high performing university students to small businesses and startups locally and internationally, for student internships to help these students develop industry required skills and expertise.
